System Information

Sizing and output

The size of the system will depend on how much you want to reduce your bill by and how much you are willing to spend.

On your electricity bill it will tell you how many kilowatt hours (kwh) of electricity you are using on average per day. From this figure we can determine how much the system will reduce your electricity usage.

With the ever increasing cost of electricity any saving is good news. You can receive solar credits for the first 1.5kW of solar installed. All systems create RECs - renewable energy certificates - these can be sold to recieve a one off payment, further reducing the cost of the system. The solar credits will be 5x RECs. The feed in tariff will be 60c for every kilowatthour of electricity exported to the grid, up to a maximum system size of 5kW.

Only quality products are used. Proven and tested European inverters with 5 year warranties, indoor, outdoor and fully weatherproof.

Framing system is engineer approved with a 10 year warranty on materials.

Sanyo, Suntech and Sharp solar panels are used, all have a 20 - 25 year warranty.

Examples

1500watt system = 6kwh/day average

9 x 175w solar panels - 12 sqm roof space

3150watt system = 12kwh/day average

18 x 175w solar panels - 24 sqm roof space

4900watt system = 18kwh/day average

28 x 175w solar panels - 24 sqm roof space

Sanyo solar panels are 205w this means less panels for the same output.

Any size system can be designed, inbetween the examples above or larger.
